MAUREEN MARINE

"This is an old fish tale about one that didn't get away, but maybe should've!"

Hanging at the boardwalk
Checking out the chicks
You can knock down the bottles
Three tries for two bits
MAUREEN MARINE
MAUREEN MARINE
My sea-weedy seeweetie
M-ma-ma-mer-maid ma-ma-mama
MAUREEN

The number one attraction at the dollar side show
Who'd ya think it was?
Well, wouldn't you know it's
MAUREEN MARINE
MAUREEN MARINE
My sea-weedy sweetie
M-ma-ma-mer-maid ma-ma-mama
MAUREEN
(spoken: [spell out] "m-a-u-r-e-e-n  m-a-r-i-n-e")

I paid my money and
Stepped right in
The top half is woman
The bottom half's fin
Yes that's
MAUREEN MARINE
MAUREEN MARINE
My sea-weedy swedie
M-ma-ma-mer-maid ma-ma-mama
MAUREEN
(spoken: "Something fishy's going on roun' here, and I aim to get to the bottom of it")

She was so pretty
I fell in love at first sight
Just had to ask
MAUREEN out for the night
At half past nine
She (ooou) looked divine
Dinner, and a show
What more you need to know?

I can smell the ocean
I can smell the sea
I can smell the ocean
I can smell the sea on me
(spoken [lick lips] "Hmm, tastes a little salty")

After some gropening
I found my opening
And took the plunge
The rims of her fins
Were tinged orange
(spoken WC Fields voice: "Ah, yeesss. My little chicken of the sea")

Way down in Davy Jone's locker
Lies a chest of treasure
For the deep deep diver
A whirlpool of pleasure

What a mistake to decide
But I got inside
MAUREEN she gave me the crabs
