Creeping past a neon light
Something tells me the time is right
Best lay low when I make my rounds

I got a little black book chock full of names
It's dirty work but all the same
I cross 'em out as I go down
Yeah, Mackie's Back in Town

Jenny Diver, Sukey Tawdry
That's yesterday's news
A whole lotta old friends I gotta see
Now I got my walking shoes

The moon is shining and the stars are bright
Something tells me the time is right
