GOOD BUSINESS

You move your drink a little closer
As if we're playing chess
Smile awhile at one another
What about the rest?

We talked much more the time before
Down in Rico's bar
Drove so far in your old car
Here clear to Canada

This crowd's so loud and saying nothing
Tell me something real
So now you're proud or are you blushing?
Waiting for a deal

I almost laughed while you were crying
Say it once again
And did you know what you were buying
When you sold your friend?

Running from the Mob    Hiding from the Heat
Quite a few looking for you    Strange that you're here with me
Got no fucking job    Ain't had enough to eat
What you do, is up to you    But the Fat Cat still wants his fee,
                                       SEE?

He don't listen 'less it's GOOD BUSINESS
        Keeping his scams so discreet
He don't listen 'less it's GOOD BUSINESS
Never had to scratch on the street on the street

Gonna go 'n phone Nevada    See what I can do
At home it's known I gotta lotta Strings that I can pull
The Tuesday night Pan-Am flight    And you'll be on that plane
Out of mind and out of sight    Soon forget my name
                                           GO!!

God knows got no job    Ain't had enough to eat
What you do is up to you    But the Fat Cat still wants his fee, see?
Running from the Mob    Hiding from the Heat
Quite a few looking for you    Wish you were here with me
(Don't listen 'less it's GOOD BUSINESS)
Wish you were here with me
(Don't listen 'less it's GOOD BUSINESS)
Wish you were here with me
